This weekend started with a real blast from the past when I spotted a pair of moon boots. Wowza, haven’t seen those since the 80’s. Have to say they made me laugh like, well, a school girl, just like the 80’s 😉
The retro weekend continued when we visited The Museum of the Moving Image where we were immersed in the magic of movies in their Behind the Screen Exhibition and then the old farts in the group (Ron and I) were transported right back to childhood in the Spacewar! Video Games Blast Off Exhibit. I LOVE this museum and I highly recommend jumping on the train and heading to Queens to check it out. The neighborhood is pretty cool too with tons of good pubs and shops to explore. Any day is a good day when the kids can just be kids and the adults get to be kids too! Too funny and we forget so easily! Kristi and I are missing our annual trip to NYC. Hopefully we can make it later in the spring and hopefully by then the temperatures will be nicer! Thanks for sharing and maybe we will see you soon! Wanda
Moon Boots. Mine always got soaked (curse you Moon Boots). Had to put plastic bags on my feet everytime I left the house.
