It's Always An Adventure

This is the third year in a row I am happy to be involved in the amazing Bake It Happen cause. My friend Shari Brooks (from My Judy the Foodie) and her sister have continued this incredible fund raiser in memory of their beautiful mother and in support of breast cancer research. As an added bonus we always have so much fun baking and sharing the delicious baked goods.

This October we are in the middle of the craziness of high school tours, middle school tours, auditions and marathon training!! We decided this past Sunday that we all needed a little break. It was the perfect time to get into the kitchen and make some of Judy’s Pumpkin Chip Cookies.

We gathered the ingredients and of course, had to take a quick time out to go to the market for the couple of things that I forgot to buy!! and then we cranked the tunes and went to work. I had lots of helpers in the kitchen until it was time to clean up =)

When the cookies were done, magically the kids returned and happily tested the yummy treats. They were delicious!!

We packaged the cookies up and prepared them to be shared. This is the best part, I love spreading the love as well as knowing that just by brightening someone’s day with a little treat you are also contributing to such an amazing cause.
