As I have said before, one of the things I love about living in New York City is exploring and finding something new and cool. This past Saturday as I was was walking along 41st street with my youngest daughter, we discovered Library Way. On the way to the central branch of the New York City Public Library which is located at 42nd and 5th there is a whole street block dedicated to plaques that contain poetry, quotes and other pieces of literature. It really is a pause and look where you are going moment AND the one time in NYC where all is forgiven if you stop walking to read in the middle of the sidewalk 😉
Here are some pics, take the time to read them and have a wonderful Wednesday!
That is so cool! I don’t remember every seeing these. It’s been awhile since I worked in that part of midtown. I used to go to the library all the time. I miss it!
Howdy! I could have sworn I’ve been to your blog before but after browsing through many of the articles I realized it’s new to me.
Anyways, I’m certainly delighted I came across it and I’ll
be book-marking it and checking back regularly!
