This past Sunday we picked out our Christmas tree and decorated it. She is a big beautiful tree and once it warmed up and opened up we have to admit it looked a little “Griswold” Christmas. It definitely fills up the room but we love it and you can’t help but be filled with the spirit of the season when you look at it =). Hope you enjoy the pics. Happy Wednesday everyone, two more weeks until Santa visits… just keep breathing and remember a little Baileys in your coffee always tastes good 😉

Bake It Happen
Looks great! We got our tree last Sunday too! The first one ever since my husband and I got married two years ago!

I just came across your blog and love it! My husband and I plan to do the same thing you did–move our family (of five) to nyc from the ‘burbs. Your blog is an inspiration and it helps me stay positive (we get many negative comments about leaving the suburbs for the city).
I couldn’t find an email addy for you, so I’ll leave it here: I wanted to know if you’d be willing to do a short q&a for my blog about the decision and experience of moving to the city with kids. Our situation (moving out of the ‘burbs instead of to them) seems so rare, I’d love to share another perspective on it–especially from someone who has successfully done it. My email addy is below if interested.
Thanks and Happy Holidays!
