This past Sunday we picked out our Christmas tree and decorated it. She is a big beautiful tree and once it warmed up and opened up we have to admit it looked a littleย “Griswold” Christmas. It definitely fills up the room but we love it and you can’t help but be filled with the spirit of the season when you look at it =). Hope you enjoy the pics. Happy Wednesday everyone, two more weeks until Santa visits… just keep breathing and remember a little Baileys in your coffee always tastes good ๐

Wordless Wednesday: Trimming The Tree 2012

Nothing makes me happier at this time of year than sitting in front of our decorated Christmas tree, snuggled on the couch with the family, nice and warm, reading, watching a movie or just talking and listening to music. If the Yule Log is on in the background, even better ๐ There is something truly calming about the warm glow of the lights and the peacefulness of family-time especially after a day caught up in the hustle and bustle of NYC during the holidays. I cherish these moments. Here are some pics of the family bringing home our tree and getting our decorating groove on. Hope you enjoy! A VERY happy 12-12-12 to you all!!!
