It is another spectacular September day here in NYC. I should be doing a bunch of other “important” things but how could I resist taking the Dopey dog for a long walk on a day like today?? While walking back from uptown I passed three telephone booths. Three. Three real, old fashioned telephone booths that you can actually hang out in, have some privacy and talk on the phone. They were perfect graffiti covered stand alone structures. I wonder if my children have ever seen such a thing? And how had I never noticed them before? I always discover new and interesting things as I walk in this incredible city. My only disappointment is that I did not see Superman doing a quick change. Sigh. Maybe next time.

Very cool, but probably at least 50 cents now. I was just visiting your fair city a few weeks ago and miss it already. It was amazing to visit. Couldn’t get over the people and how friendly everyone was! Amazing. I will be back 🙂
