We had a great Memorial Day weekend in the City. Ron has been working crazy hours and the kids and I are busy with end of year activities and beginning of summer planning. So, what our family needed was just a weekend where we had absolutely no plans at all. It was perfect. We explored the Lower East Side, had a cupcake at our favorite spot in the city- Sugar Sweet Sunshine Bakery, checked out the treats in Economy Candy, visited street fairs, played at playgrounds that were outside of our normal ‘hood, saw the sights, had family movie and game night, finally ate at Bar BACON (beyond fantastic!!) and even managed to squeeze in a viewing of X-Men: Days of Future Past.
